How to collect club dues online

Chasing checks and updating a spreadsheet is the worst part of running a club. Here's how to move dues online so members pay in seconds and your roster stays current on its own.

Decide how you'll charge

Most clubs charge a flat annual or monthly fee. Annual is simplest for members to reason about; monthly lowers the up-front cost and smooths your cash flow. Pick one to start — you can always add tiers later.

Choose a way to get paid

You want three things: members can pay with a card or a phone wallet, the money lands in your club's bank account, and paid/unpaid status updates without you typing it in.

Club Dues does exactly this on top of Stripe. Members pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a card, funds settle straight to your club's account, and the roster is driven by the payments themselves.

Make joining effortless

  • Share one link, or print a QR code for the door or bulletin board.
  • Members enter a name and email, then pay — no account or password.
  • Autopay renews them next year automatically, so you're not chasing anyone.

Keep offline members, too

Some members will always pay by cash or check. Record those payments in a click and they sit right alongside your autopay members — same roster, same status view. When you're ready, one button invites them to switch themselves to autopay.
